This might be true for your average Fox News viewer…. but that is about it.

It isn’t that far-fetched because it does take this low of an IQ to make up math like this:
With the recent shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and others, this marks a dark day on the history of America.
We do not know yet if the shooting was an act of protest, politically motivated, or just a random shooting. But a lot of people out there are calling out Sarah Palin for her map that she had on her website targeting the Representative’s district with a gun target.
Since the shooting, Sarah Palin’s website has since taken down the graphic.
There was also this “fun” campaign stunt during the election this summer.
We all know there are nuts out there on either side, but you also have to have some sort of responsibility when you put stuff online for your millions of followers. There is a good chance that there is a nut out there that would take it literal or seriously and actually act out on that symbolism. Not thinking about this and taking it into account is negligence at the very least.
As details roll out about this tragedy, one has to think. Where did the shooter get his motivation? Should we hold those people accountable?
As one comment I saw put it so plainly…”Hitler never killed a single Jew personally “
So here I was, looking at digg.com, seeing what is going on today, and I came across this article about how a guy in Idaho is making KKK snowmen. Disgusting, but it is a free country after all. The comments on the article start to get equally as disgusting, and one stuck out in particular.
Mrs. Marvin (Betsy) McCoochey says:This man is my Brother-in-law. He is not a racist! he just loves America and doesn’t like what IS HAPPENING to our nation…bailouts, abortions, tax increases.
He helped me form GrandmaGrizzly.ORG, to help elect candidates who will stop socialisms, terrism, and create FREEDOMS.

All I could think at first is.. wtf? So I (mistakenly) went to that website and was rather shocked at how much hate a “old lady” could produce. It’s astounding.
I then saw her blogspot profile, it reads:
Welcome to THE HOME of Constitutional Conservatism on the internet. My grandma always said, “If the Lord didn’t want America to be White, why did he invent smallpox?” I try to pass on those same values that made us a great nation to my family. I am an Active Precinct Captain and member of Republican Executive Committee for 2010 Elections. Trained in Voter Fraud-Spotting..so LOOK OUT ACORN, Black Panthers and Homosexuals!! join us! grandmagrizzlyPAC (at) gmail.com
Smallpox? Really? You went there?
One thing that is obvious is that it is not this little old lady that is producing this content. This “persona” is a cover up for someone that doesn’t want to be linked for the hate filled content that they are putting online.
In correspondence with Mark Halvorson, Director of the Citizens for Election Integrity Minnesota (CEIMN), he gladly accepted this person to volunteer as a non-partisan observer for the process. Non-partisan.. ¬¬
To save you all from the rhetoric, here are the emails. You won’t get all of the bolds, underlines, and color changes in her correspondence, but it still reads just the same.

RE: Recount Observers
Hi Betsy,
Thanks for signing up to be a non-partisan recount observer. I notice that you signed up for the Friday 10AM, Nov 19, phone training and the in person training on Monday, Nov 22. You are certainly welcome to attend both, but it is not necessary as they will be the same training. Let me know which one works best for you. Also, could you clarify your address. Here is what you indicated in the sign up form, but I couldn’t locate a zip of 20010 in MN.
1435 Harding Lane, Starke, MN 20010
Thanks

RE: Recount ObserversHi Mark–
Thank you for your reply. I must have typed in my zip code incorrectly. I can bring my Drivers License with me. I STILL have one at the age of 89, in fact, I thank the Good Lord that the Minnesota Dept. of Motor Vehicles or whatever it’s called can’t take away our FREEDOMS and HEALTHCARES like the rest of the danged government. I partially credit the strong lobbying arm of the AARP, which threatens any official who thinks it might be a good idea to ask Marv and I to come in for a driving test just because we are getting on in years, with a wave of Tea Party Elderly who have all the time in the world to Get Out The Vote. FREEDOM isn’t FREE and sometimes the price of mobility is a stuck gas pedal here and there or some unpleasantness at the Farmer’s Market with the Buick. (I’ll be damned if I EVER take the bus. I took the “subway” once in Washington, DC and I will never go near a speeding socialist tube filled with poor people and women in hijabs ever again!)
Now, the firearms commission investigation was a little more serious, but even then I charmed ‘em into letting me keep my gun permits. Can you even imagine your OWN SON testifying against you in front of some pinko government panel trying to say you are too old and ornery for your own goddamn guns? I said the Colt went off “accidentally” and either they sure believed it or they saw what kind of alternative lifestyle my boy Duwayne was living with that oily Rodrigo friend of his and thought, sorry, anyone who has a roommate after the age of 29 is either a flit or a communist. “Roommate, my pink hiney!” Either way, he was deemed “not credible” as a witness and Marv & I got to keep the guns. That was the WORST day of my life, right after November 4, 2008.
Now, what we are hoping to achieve here with this “RECOUNTING” business is to either a) Get this Emmer fellow “in”, or, if that is a long shot, or b) at least hold off of seating that Democrat until we can privatize social security, at least on the local level, and maybe get a ban on Sodomy going. Did you know Best Buy, Home Depot, and Target gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Republican Congressional Campaign Committee to get Sodomy criminalized here in MN? Its true. Michele Bachmann is my niece.
I figured I would do both the in-person and telephone training so I can better figure the loopholes and get some more checks on the “red” box. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
Kind Regards,
Betsy Mac
PS: Marv is coming along as well, so mark us down as a two-fer!

Hi Betsy,
Given the icy road conditions, the training that was originally scheduled at our office this evening, will now be conducted by phone. The number you will need to call is: 800-444-2801 and the conference code is 1149272. I have enclosed a code of conduct and questionnaire that will we review on the call. We will also discuss scheduling.
Note that this will be the last training, so if you are unable to participate on the call we are unable to include you in our non-partisan observation, but we appreciate your interest and support!

If you want to read it in all it’s bold, multicolored glory, here you go.
I know that they cannot do a full background check for each person so it would be tough to know that this person is indeed a white supremacist unless they were displaying it publically.
What disturbs me is that this person admits plain as day that they would do anything in their power to taint the outcome of the recount in Emmer’s favor. The coordinator then responds to her about how to get started in the process. I doubt the person ever got back, seeing as the person isn’t real, and obviously not from Minnesota, therefore didn’t participate in this process. At least I hope not…
Today on Facebook I referred to Tea Party members as “tea baggers” and I had no clue it would start a debate. A conservative person I know decided to chime in and call me out on trying to use an anti-gay slur. I had no clue what he was talking about.
Right away, I turn to UrbanDictionary.com. If any site has any and all definitions for a slang or slur, this would be the site.
Someone who rests their testicles on another person face, while they are asleep/passed out.
guy dipping his balls into a girls mouth, slowly going up and down just like a tea bagg
when a guy drops his balls into a girls mouth while she is awake
ok… I’m still not seeing it…
1) A male engages in the sexual act of tea bagging. in which he stands over his partner and lowers his testicles into his partner’s mouth, as if lowering a tea bag into a tea cup.
2) A follower of the conservative US Tea Party political movement, often used as a derogatory term.
and the list continues on…
I went through all of the definitions and different spellings for tea bagger on Urban Dictionary. There was nothing about it being an anti-gay slur.
Now I am trying to figure out where the hell he is getting this from. I turn to Google.
First thing I see, a video from Sean Hannity.
Ok.. now it’s becoming clear.
After looking at a lot of the results from the search, it’s plainfully evident that the right is trying to twist the term into a anti-gay slur. A lot of it has to do with Obama calling people from the Tea Party “Tea Baggers” back in May.
Think of the hyprocracy.

People from the Tea Party, who have called themselves Tea Baggers, are in an uproar about Obama saying the word “Tea Bagger”. How do they twist it without sounding racist? Let’s try and make it an anti-gay slur.
Remember, this is the same group of people who called Rep. Lewis a “Ni**er”,and called Rep. Frank a “Fa**ot”.
Today is Veteran’s Day, and I would like to say Thank You.
The declaration for the first ”Veteran’s Day” happened one year after the end of World War 1 and was made by President Woodrow Wilson. He made the declaration as the first commemoration of Armistice Day with a simple memoriam in mind. He asked for for the day to be observed with parades and a brief suspension of business starting at 11:00 a.m to honor all the lives lost in World War 1, the war to end all wars.
After that, it took Congress until June 4th, 1926 to officially recognize the end of World War 1 and to make November 11th an legal holiday, but just for that year. This was done so with these following words:
Whereas the 11th of November 1918, marked the cessation of the most destructive, sanguinary, and far reaching war in human annals and the resumption by the people of the United States of peaceful relations with other nations, which we hope may never again be severed, and
Whereas it is fitting that the recurring anniversary of this date should be commemorated with thanksgiving and prayer and exercises designed to perpetuate peace through good will and mutual understanding between nations; and
Whereas the legislatures of twenty-seven of our States have already declared November 11 to be a legal holiday: Therefore be it Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), that the President of the United States is requested to issue a proclamation calling upon the officials to display the flag of the United States on all Government buildings on November 11 and inviting the people of the United States to observe the day in schools and churches, or other suitable places, with appropriate ceremonies of friendly relations with all other peoples.
It then took until May 13th, 1938 for an Act (52 Stat. 351; 5 U. S. Code, Sec. 87a) to be passed to officially declare November 11th of each year a legal federal holiday known as Armistice Day. It was 19 years in the making, but it finally got passed.
At the same time, there was another war going on, World War 2. Then shortly after that, the Korean War. On June 1st 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, decided to make Armistice day not just for those who gave their lives in World War 1, but to make this day in honor and memoriam to all veterans and then changed the name of the day from Armistice Day to Veteran’s Day.
Honoring today’s veteran’s should not be a partisan issue, but politics as of late have made it seem like only Republicans are true patriots, and nothing could be further from the truth. Honor knows no political stance, respect knows no political stance, patriotism knows no political stance, love of our country knows no political stance, and the willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good knows no political stance.
