So.. remind me again why there can’t be a Mosque by the World Trade Center Memorial?
because terrorists don’t plan attacks on major cities that kill 3,000 people in strip clubs, but they do in mosques!!

This post is misleading at best. Take a look at the Church map – a handful of those dots are actual churches where most of them are simply there because the street name is Church St.

Tell that to Google. You can get the same result from Google maps, the author didn’t hand-make these maps. I think he just did a location search around the WTC.

Well that was a clever way to make a point in support of a mosque being built there. But those churches, synagogues, etc were likely there long before 9/11/01. To put up a mosque after the fact near the very place where jihadists attacked just seems a bit wrong, doesn’t it? (Of course I must make the politically correct acknowledgement that most Muslims are wonderful people, it’s just the few extremists we’re all scared of.) Just leave the place alone, Muslims. Carry on in peace. No need to ruffle any feathers. Then again, if their purpose for wanting this mosque in that area IS peace, then perhaps we ought to accept it as an act of peace. Hm?

I am all for the mosque but to help your argument you should have put a map of mosque near the WTC memorial because I for one do not know if they is a mosque already in the area of the WTC memorial.
